Swedes seem
to be popular advisers in Slovenia these days. Particularly in the finance
world, where Slovenian finance ministry has appointed Carl-John Lindgren, Arne
Berggren
and Lars Nyberg as directors in the Bank Assets Management
Company (BAMC).
BAMC has been established after
the Swedish model Securum, which was created during the Swedish financial
crisis in the early 1990´s with the only goal to take over and administrate bad
loans from the Swedish banks. Both Berggren and Nyberg where instrumental in
Securum, which now is seen as a raw model for saving banks in many countries during
the current financial crisis.
